Bharat Mata Mandir is a famous Mother India Temple, is one of the most visited temples located in Haridwar. This temple is devoted to Bharat Mata and was constructed by the famous religious guru, Swami Satyamitranand Giri. The late Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, inaugurated this temple in 1983. The temple has eight floors which are stacked with idols of deities, saints, and secular heroes of all Indian faiths. The most amazing part of the attraction is the number of visitors that it gets everyday from all across the world. Every single floor of this eight-storey building is devoted to representing a specific theme. The temple building is elevated to a height of 180 ft. The first floor or storey features the statue of Mother India, hence named Bharat Mata Mandir.
