History

The Sri Karinjeshwara Temple dedicated to God shiva and is located in the town of Karinja, in the area of Dakshin Kannada. It is a significant place amongst the most regarded pilgrim spots in Karnataka. The temple is situated in the Bantwal taluka and is on a slope in the Karinja village.The devotees can visit the temple dedicated to Parvati while in transit to the sanctuary of God Shiva. There is another temple dedicated to God Ganesha that is arranged at the same level as the Durga Temple.
