History

Shri Panchamukhi Anjaneya Kshetra is a temple located in hanumagiri, Eswaramangala, putturu, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.  As Rama wish Hanumath is required to bring sanjivini parvatha to construct bridge but part of sanjivini parvatha was not utilized. So according to Rama wish Hanumath placed that parvatha to various places like Vajragiri and its also noted that the southern hill ranges like kodachadri and gourdhanagiri from the himalayas. This Hanumagiri is also said to be a part of the same sanjivini parvatha hill, and it is for the same reason that this place of worship has come up today.
